First performed at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan on 25 April 1926. First performed at the Teatro Real on 14 February 1998.
Produced by the Teatro Real, in co-production with the National Theatre of Lithuania, the Canadian Opera Company of Toronto, the Houston Grand Opera and the Opéra National de Paris.
